When Disney comes to mind, three things excite all tourists: rides, characters and food. You can’t miss out on the authentic Mickey Mouse-shaped snacks sold at the kiosks in the parks. If you do, your trip won’t be the same.
1. Mickey Ice Cream Bar

Let’s start off with a classic — the ultimate Disney treat, conveniently located at any ice cream stand in every park. A Mickey Ice Cream bar simply takes creamy vanilla ice cream and covers it with a chocolate shell. When ordering this one on a hot day, eat fast or the ice cream starts to drip down your hands. A special tip when you need this snack to beat the heat — don’t take it out of the bag. Open from the top (ear-side up), and hold the stick through the bag to save yourself from the stickiness.
2. Turkey Leg

If you’ve been to Disney before, you already expect to see a sweaty, overweight man munching on a turkey leg at 10 a.m. Some people love it, some people hate it, but everyone needs to try it. The turkey leg is another Disney staple, and it’s a meal you need to try at least once in your life. Do not buy one of these for each member of your group — this snack definitely is sharable, unless you think you have what it takes to finish an entire leg yourself.
3. Mickey Waffle

Start your day off right by enjoying a big breakfast. Don’t waste time in the park trying to get Starbucks in the morning — that’s quality ride time! Make sure you eat before getting into the Magic Kingdom so your stomach doesn’t growl while you wait on line for Space Mountain. Plan out a breakfast reservation where you experience the magic of Disney before you even enter the theme parks. A Mickey Waffle fills you up until lunch and makes breakfast fun.
4. Cotton Candy

Got a sweet tooth? Beat the cravings with a bag of cotton candy. The best spots to purchase some? Either at the Confectionary, which is located right at the entrance of Main Street, U.S.A. As soon as you enter the Magic Kingdom, you’ll smell the sweetness of sugar being blown for the air and get the urge to stop for some instantly. If you’re deeper in the park, go to Storybook Circus in the back on Fantasyland. At the big circus tent in the middle, there are tons of sweet, carnival themed treats!
5. Coffee

No matter what time of day it is, coffee is a MUST. Even better? Each to-go coffee cup comes with a quote from Walt Disney. That piece of wisdom lifts you just as much as the caffeine boost does. Enjoy a cup while walking into the park or when you need to stay up that extra hour to watch the fireworks.
6. Night Blossom

This authentic snack can only be found at Pandora – The World of Avatar located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Available at the Pongo Pongo (Na’vi for “party party”) drink stand, this fruity drink is layered with limeade, apple and pear flavors, and topped with orange boba balls. The Night Blossom puts you right into Pandora and makes you feel like a local.
7. Mickey Cookie

As all great Disney treats are, this huge cookie is shaped just like everyone’s favorite mouse — Mickey! This sweet treat is big enough for the whole family to share and snack on throughout the day. As if the chocolate chips baked inside weren’t sugary enough, the cookie itself is dipped in chocolate!
